Estudio Jurídico Otero was founded by José Antonio Otero Bañados in 1923. Upon the return of Miguel Otero Lathrop to the country after having received his Master of Comparative Law Degree in the United States of America in 1957, the Firm began developing an international practice by advising various local companies with activities abroad, and multinational and foreign investors doing business in Chile.
